Meet Katherine.
Katherine Fisker, a seasoned dog trainer with over a decade of experience, discovered her passion for canine behavior modification 15 years ago while addressing challenges with her own "difficult" dog. Dissatisfied with her available resources, she delved into studies of her own, starting with dog behavior analysis. This laid the groundwork for the precision, dog-centered training approach she uses today.
To gain practical knowledge, Katherine worked in doggy daycares and boarding facilities, engaging directly with a diverse range of dogs. These positions also allowed her to engage directly with owners, hearing first-hand about the dog behavior they struggled with most. Her dedication led her to Tucson’s Humane Society, where she played a pivotal role in creating a specialized behavior program, significantly impacting the rehabilitation and successful rehoming of adoptable dogs. Motivated to refine her focus, Katherine interned under a local trainer before establishing Fisker K9 Training on her own.
Today, Katherine is a trusted authority in her field, recognized for her practical experience, commitment, and genuine passion for taking on even the toughest of cases to ensure dogs enjoy long, joyful lives in their home.
